Suwandi waeng (b. 1978) Started painting in 2021 by self-taught, the beginning of his work focused more on portrait series until 2014. Then he focused more on environmental themes which were motivated by strong memories from childhood, namely the routine of looking for wooden twigs for the need to burn pottery, and now starting to explore natural textures with cloth and dacron media which are manually sewn on canvas.
