Abdul Aziz was born in Yogyakarta. He started his artistic career by studying Fine Arts at the Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. Speaking of his work, he chose abstraction as a language of expression as a form of courage in his work. In the process of his work, he does not prioritize right or wrong; he prioritizes freedom of expression. According to him, this allows for spontaneous exploration of color to form an artistic experience.
