Agus Astoro, born in 1970. studied fine arts at IKIP Jakarta. Since college, he has been actively working. The works made are paintings. His works explore reflections that are inspired from within and outside of him, which according to him touch thoughts and feelings. Astoro has participated in many joint exhibitions and once had a solo exhibition. Exhibition in various cities such as Bandung, Jakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya. Apart from being a painter, he also works as an art teacher. Astoro has won a painting competition as Best Achievement in the Painting Competition of the International Art Festival Yogyakarta (2016) and was twice selected as an art teacher exhibition participant organized by the National Gallery and the Ministry of Education. National, namely “Alur” (2016) and “Teacher of the Art of Running” (2014).n
