Fransiskus Rudy Born in Pontianak 1979. Since the second grade of elementary school at Kanisius school, Pontianak, he has been interested in painting. When he was a teenager, he worked as a designer and also an artist at the advertising bureau Victory Pontianak. Continuing his hobby of painting, painting billboards for cinema films in Jakarta, at that time the quality of painting film posters really helped the promotion of the film itself, such as works by Jean studio, Sin studio and Yongky studio and professional friends, his painting techniques in the media their acrylics with each painting style that inspired me.

As time went on and the development of the era, the cinema experienced a gloomy period, then continued his hobby, namely painting photo studio backdrops and the business of photography equipment such as Pantographs, Rolling Motors for backdrops in photo studios. Even gloomy times cannot be avoided with the presence of digital cameras and cell phones that can be satisfied taking photos without having to print them in a photo studio. And finally, continuing his hobby, switching to painting on canvas is his choice.

The themes of religious paintings and cultural themes of the Archipelago are also Balinese themes. Because Bali has always been known for its cultures, which are still thick with religious ceremonies and cultural traditions that are already known through domestic and foreign tourists visiting Bali. Curious to know how to make computer designs, for several years I had studied computer design, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and how to make video broadcasts with Adobe Premeire, After Effects, 3D max and Archicad software.

He studied painting at the Ikebukuro Art Center in Japan, and learned a lot by self-taught from fellow painters and can't be separated from learning indirectly from senior painters. The art of painting that he has gained until now has become his passion to always be active and keep working. Because he is artistically descended from his father, the choice of painting on canvas until now. Actively participate in painting exhibition events in Jakarta and Surabaya, always join in.

His paintings have been collected by painting lovers from home and abroad, and at the Indonesian Embassy. In 2012 his painting was auctioned at the Ballroom of Djakarta  Theater Sarinah, in order to raise funds for building a church, the video can be seen in "Video Auction of Fransiskus Rudy's painting".
