Nuning Damayanti (b.1964) is a graduate of a master's program in Germany and obtained his doctorate from the Faculty of Art and Design ITB. He continued his education in Germany for 5 years on scholarships from the Goethe Institute, HBK Braunschweig, and Deutche Auslandie Austausch Dienst (DAAD) from the German Government.

In 1996 he returned to Indonesia and taught at the ITB FSRD.
